MagBase
MagBase is a magnetometer-based reference station for correction or noise cancellation of well, aerial or field measurements made with SENSYS Systems.

The MagBase is a base station for magnetic measurements.
The system consists of a data logger, a FGM3D/75 Fluxgate magnetometer and a tripod. Is a tri-axial Fluxgate magnetometer, measuring all three components of the Earth‘s magnetic field. The sensor has a measurement range of +/-75,000nT and is mounted in a carbon fiber tube.

The data logger has a built-in GPS receiver, which sends the position to the logger once per second. The device comes with its own power supply consisting of a 12V, 7Ah lead-gel battery. An appropriate charger is part of the delivery.

The collected data can be used in collaboration with other magnetic measurements (e.g. science-related magnetic cartography, borehole surveys with the BM2, aerial surveys with the MagDrone R3 or One, etc.) to correlate or correct survey data.

The associated software MagDrone DataTool helps you export the data to further process the recorded values, i.e. using MAGNETO®* software, GIS or Matlab tools with your own scripts.

MagDrone R3
The MagDrone R3 is anultra-portable magnetometer survey kit to be attached to any UAV / drone with a minimum payload of 1kg.

Due to its 200Hz sampling rate, the MagDrone R3 can be directly attached to a drone's landing gear. Even in close proximity to the motors, the MagDrone R3 excels in distinguishing motor noise, network frequencies, temporary interferences, and ground signals.

Depending on capabilities of the UAV / drone in terms of maneuverability and GPS precision, the MagDrone R3 survey kit can be used for general purpose surveys, science related magnetic cartographies, exploration studies on hidden minerals, as well as for safety relevant operations. Those can include area scanning for bombs and ammunition, as well as preventive surveillance of areas and camps against intrusion.

The associated software MagDrone DataTool helps you export the data to further process the recorded values, i.e. using MAGNETO®* software, GIS or Matlab tools with your own scripts.

MagDrone R4
The MagDrone R4 is used for high resolution are mapping in order to detect small and compact objects as well as structures in the ground, such as bombs, ammunition or settlement features from the past.

With 200Hz sampling rate the MagDrone R4 can easily filter out noise from net frequencies, infrastructure or the UAV/Drone motors. Hence, the MagDrone R4 devices can be directly installed on the drone landing gear to enable a very compact setup.

The MagDrone R4 survey kit can be used for general purpose surveys, science related magnetic cartographies, mine exploration, as well as for safety relevant operations such as area scanning for bombs and ammunition, preventive check and surveillance of areas and camps against intrusion.

Together with the SENSYS tool MagBase acting as a reference station, the drone based magnetometer data can be correlated with those from the MagBase. That will enable the cancellation of temporary noise sources such as crossing vehicles or net frequencies.

The associated software MagDrone DataTool helps you export the data to further process the recorded values, i.e. using MAGNETO®* software, GIS or Matlab tools with your own scripts.
